Position: Quality Control Inspector

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our Broussard facility. This position is responsible for inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established standards of strength, quality, and endurance. They are also responsible for operating mechanical and electrical test equipment to check parts and material for conformance to standard requirements. Additionally, will coordinate and execute quality documentation packages required for customer orders in conjunction with requirements for third party witness inspection.
What you’ll do:
•Inspecting materials and ensure that they meet the quality standards specified by the company.
•Provide examples for standards needed, write inspection procedures for new products requiring fabrication, measure different devices needed to carry out these tasks, and point out areas requiring additional attention to workers.
•Perform tests on products to ensure quality standards for the products are met.
•Engage in inspecting incoming materials, in process product, and finished products to ensure adherence to company quality standards and customer specifications.
•Consolidate and present data which accurately reports key quality indicators and results of correction action effort(s).
•Expedite daily production output by assuring timely flow of all quality control checks and corrections.
•Ensure weekly review and documented quality control inspections of the components and finish goods
•Effectively communicate and document all major quality problems to respective individuals and ensure closure on resolution
•Drive timely resolution of customer complaints
•Monitor and drive improvement in First Pass Yield at final assembly
•Ensure FAI and quality checks are completed within 24-48 hours
•Complete customer documentation packages in accordance with customer specifications for each order
•Ensure calibration of test equipment is maintained
What you’ll bring:
•Education or coursework in Quality Control Processes an asset
•ISO and API experience preferred.
•Minimum of 4 years Quality Inspection/Technician experience
•High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate to a wide variety of people
•Collaborative approach to getting things done and the ability to work effectively in a team
