What you’ll do:

  • With direction from the Inside Sales Manager, prepare Quotes, process Purchase orders, Sales orders and execute other tasks from the entire Sales cycle.
  • Learn and perform the job duties within McCoy’s software ecosystem: Epicor (ERP system used by McCoy), Microsoft Office and Adobe suite of products, etc.
  • Support the Outside sales team.
  • Forward sales leads to outside sales to action
  • Perform administrative and clerical functions, as required, during the entire sales cycle.
  • Track open quotations and follow-up on assigned open quotes.

  • Develop account information and intelligence on customers to assist Outside Sales.
  • In conjunction with Quality, Supply Chain and Manufacturing, coordinates RMA documentation and reporting and tracking problems.
  • Responds to requests from sales team for information.
  • Opens and maintains customer accounts by recording account information.

  • Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Cancel or upgrade accounts.
  • Perform Order Review and send Order Acknowledgements to Customers
  • Review Purchase Orders for accuracy of approved terms, price, revision, delivery, duplication, and special instructions and resolve any discrepancies. Enter customer requirements into business system.
  • Schedule customer delivery requirements in accordance with ERP System availability.
  • Maintain the order entry system to assure accurate shipping, invoicing, terms, and schedule requirements, working within established production planning guidelines.
  • Coordinate and process customer returns in a timely manner.
  • Monitor in process yields to ensure timely response to negative situations.
  • Respond to customer delivery concerns, involving any necessary member of the manufacturing team to effectively solve customer problems.
  • Assists in handling product warranties, repairs, and other customer’s concerns in accordance with McCoy’s Terms & Conditions.
  • Close out or open call records.
  • Compile reports on overall customer satisfaction.
  • Perform any other tasks as requested by management.

  • An attested bachelor’s degree certificate in business, management, or a related discipline preferred; and/or
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the management of materials and sourcing within a design and manufacturing environment;
  • Must be willing and able to travel;
  • APICS or SCMP designation preferred;
  • Experience in total quality management, Six Sigma, or other similar methodologies;
  • Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in manufacturing environment;
  • SQL experience is considered an asset;
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBi;
  • Solid technical writing and communication skills;
  • Strong analytical problem–solving ability.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Implement and enforce  Supply Chain policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic quality strategy for incoming goods.
  • Work with the Supply Chain Manager and others as assigned to provide a quality and capability assessment on new vendors during the business evaluation period.
  • Work with Supply Chain Management team to provide a quality and capability assessment of existing vendors as part of an ongoing supplier excellence program.
  • Communicate technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.
  • Liaise between senior management and the vendors to identify quality issues and come up with solutions.
  • Assure vendor compliance with McCoy’s quality standards and procedures regarding calendar evaluations, performance monitoring (OTD, Defect Rate), and other audit requirements.
  • Maintain detailed reports on supplier quality, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws.
  • Review and process, Vendor Quality Notifications or SCARs.
  • Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and processes that support supplier quality and review.
  • Draft and distribute Request for Proposals (RFPs) to potential vendors, outlining the specifications and requirements for products or services needed.
  • Perform detailed cost analyses to identify optimal procurement options aligned with budget constraints and quality standards.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous contract terms and conditions.
  • Oversee the entire ordering process, from initial requisition to final delivery, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Adhere to established company policies, procedures, terms and conditions, and legal matters.
  • Participate as a member of the operations team in making cross-functional operational decisions.
  • Participate in MRB and CAR meetings to resolve quality issues working with both internal and external resources.
