What We Need:

The Senior IT Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and the IT Managed Service Provider to ensure outstanding quality, timeliness, and cost-effective levels of service. The Senior IT Analyst will be responsible for working collaboratively across each of our locations (USA, Canada, and UAE) and will assist in developing strategies and implementing plans to improve all aspects of IT operations. In addition, the position will ensure that operational processes stay within agreed-upon budgets and timelines.

What you’ll bring:

  • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent discipline, or appropriate equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT with a strong grasp of IT technical concepts
  • Experience in managing and developing 3rd party business relationships

What you’ll do:

  • Consult with IT users to determine needs, challenges and gaps and provide users with operational support while liaising with the IT Managed Service Provider and senior management to address concerns.
  • Together with the IT Managed Service Provider, assess and coordinate the selection, installation, operation, support, and maintenance of our information technology infrastructure (i.e., operating systems, networks, telecommunications, hardware, and peripherals).
  • Together with the IT Managed Service Provider, recommend and procure efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software.
  • Provide project oversight:
    • Monitor and oversee the IT Managed Service Provider to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
    • Review IT Managed Service Provider budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
    • Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Oversee and implement an effective employee cybersecurity training program that educates employees and proactively protects against threats.
  • Identify and communicate IT risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment, and provide recommendations to enhance IT systems and services.
  • Consult with users to support and, together with the IT Managed Service Provider, solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems, and industry standards and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts.
  • Ensure strategic overview of IT issues by keeping up to date with the latest news and trends.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.

What you’ll bring:

What you’ll do:

  • Comply with organizations policies, internal controls and Code of Conduct.
  • Read job order for specifications such as material, type, and size of stock, and dimensions to be cut.
  • Obtain and transfers stock to machine.
  • Install saw blade and sets blade tension and cutting speed for specified operation.
  • Operate production saw
  • Measure work for conformance to specifications.
  • Mark identifying data on work piece.
  • Perform daily job assignments done in conjunction with the daily schedules to optimize capacity
  • Resolve problems by making decisions to correct constraints.
  • Utilize measuring equipment used in the industry such as calipers, micrometers, height gauge and other measuring equipment needed to complete work.
  • Maintain equipment and work area on a daily basis in a clean and orderly condition, report defective equipment, materials and/or faulty operations to supervisor.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Embedded and windows-based programming experience required

  • 3-5+ years of related experience
  • Knowledge of Engineering CAD software is a plus
  • Oilfield related experience is a plus
  • LabVIEW programming skills and experience is a PLUS
  • Knowledge and experience with electoral schematic software a plus. “Altium” is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Participate in the identification of root causes and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Drive timely investigation of customer complaints and non-conformances.
  • Complete customer documentation packages in accordance with company procedures and customer specifications for each order.
  • Interact with Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Service departments to meet internal and external customer needs.
  • Assist with Quality Management System audits.
