What We Need:

We are seeking for a fulltime member to join our Supply Chain team! If you are a team player, stays on top of everything, an excellent negotiator and enjoys providing a creative solution with a “think outside the box persona” then we’d love to hear from you!

In this role, you will be scheduling, expediting, purchasing of materials, supplies and services for on-time delivery of quality goods and services. You will be a champion in coordinating outside contracted services like NDE Testing and calibration.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Purchasing
  • Experience with certified quality systems adhering to certifications like ISO and API
  • Oilfield related experience an asset
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite a must
  • Experience with ERP system a must

What you’ll do:

  • Ensures timely material availability by maintaining movement of materials from suppliers to our docks through proper scheduling of purchases and material delivery.
  • Extracts/generates scheduling and procurement related information from Pegging Report, Part Shortage report or other related reports, and follows – up with stakeholders such as Engineering or Sales as well as suppliers for meeting customer’s delivery date.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and follow – up on third party activities such as painting, and inspection activities; ensuring they are done in close coordination with quality, engineering, and manufacturing functions.
  • Work with Master Scheduler to develop and implement Expediting Management Plans for critical procurement items, works, or services.
  • Meet forecasted and/or unplanned procurement needs for commodities and/or specific market segments assigned.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, when required, and monitor purchase requisition requests daily through creation to arrival.
  • Approve and issue purchase orders, in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions.
  • Order materials and services as per negotiated and appropriately approved purchase orders/requisitions.
  • Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or services with users, vendors and others to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action.
  • Plan, develop and buy materials, parts, supplies and equipment in a timely and cost-effective way.
  • Maintain appropriate quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Conduct regular review of ERP system and analyze unused and new modules to improve efficiency of the existing system.
  • Communicate with customers pertaining to current issues and escalate to Epicor for resolution as needed.
  • Testing of New Epicor versions and assist in implementation of new system for business units.
  • Work with OST Manger to deploy Epicor patch release dates, documentations and testing schedule prior to installing to live.
  • Review current configurations and provide suggestions for improvements.
  • Develop and update documentation of business processes and applications.
  • Create SSRS Reporting and BAQ/Dashboard
  • Analyze data and review gap analysis
  • Review and assign Help desk ticket when OST manager is not available
  • Create and monitor KPI’s for both the group and personally

What you’ll do:

Manage daily communication on priorities from the Manager, Product Delivery – Wellbore Products and conducts daily start-up production meetings with floor employees reviewing safety topic, on-time delivery, productivity and order status.

Assign employees to appropriate areas to achieve daily production requirements, quality checks, rework, shipping, and other daily requirements.

  • Monitor the status of production throughout the shift and assist by providing help or training to ensure that the shift can meet the goals set.
  • Follow procedures for any quality issues to arise and conduct or schedule personnel training as required.
  • Fill in for any absenteeism or in areas that require help to complete the daily goals.
  • Assess capacity needs to support scheduled backlog, sales and operations planning forecasts, and make the necessary recommendations to support business plans.
  • Collaborate with other functional departments to ensure customer expectations are met in terms of quality, delivery, and lead time.
  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production.
  • Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
  • Hands on production or part movement, as well as time spent training an individual or group on current processes within the cell.
  • Train and direct existing and new staff in current production operations and standards to ensure that a continuously improving and growing team can be developed within the division.
  • Ensure that work is being produced within the time allotted for the process, with no non-conformances meeting schedule requirements.
  • Ensure the general maintenance of all equipment within the facility is completed and documented daily.

Job Overview:

  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and PDM preferred, alternative similar products considered
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • Experience in oilfield related manufacturing would be an asset

Reporting to the Supervisor, Product Delivery, the Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling and testing manufactured components in their final stage of production.   • Tests installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality
  • Reworks, repairs, or replaces faulty components
  • Installs valve packages, gears, motors or other structural assembly
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Background in mechanics, hydraulics and electrical controls preferred
  • Ability to follow simple instructions, and adhere to safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
