Job Overview:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the CNC Machinist is responsible for manufacturing quality products through the programming and operation of CNC Machinery. This position monitors the machine operation to ensure optimal productivity and maintains the machine in proper working order.

What you’ll do:

  • Programming of CNC equipment, specifically Mazatrol and G-Code
  • Setup CNC equipment without supervision, change cutting tools and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed.
  • Resolve problems by making decisions to correct constraints.
  • Assist in equipment set up for junior level CNC Machinists to help eliminate non-conformance and spindle down time
  • Identify root causes and corrective action for quality problems.

Job Overview:

The Accountant, Plant Operations is responsible for assisting the Finance Manager, Plant Operations in a variety of functions related to the manufacturing operations for the Canada and the US facilities. This position will develop a relationship with plant management and assist the manufacturing operations team with production cost and inventory analysis. Reporting to the Finance Manager, Product Delivery, the Accountant will ensure that reports, statements and documentation are complying with internal corporate policy and external regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and other various ad hoc financial reports, including supporting working papers, documentation, and account reconciliations
  • Analyze and report on key financial metrics including:
    • Product line margins
    • Labor utilization & cost absorption
    • Production inventory usage, demand and excess and obsolete
    • Variable costs including freight, materials and consumables
  • Oversee production job close-out processes
  • Prepare intercompany invoices and miscellaneous billings
  • Assist operations with the annual physical inventory counts and fixed asset verifications
  • Under the guidance of the Finance Manager, compile documents and respond to auditor’s requests for information
  • Monitor labor efficiencies
  • Ensure intercompany AP and AR accounts reconcile at period end
  • Ensure the timely upload of all working papers at month end
  • Live the MCB’s (McCoy Behaviors) supporting a high-performance culture
  • Perform month-end close procedures, including preparation of monthly entries, account reconciliations and working papers with a high degree of accuracy on a timely basis
  • Resolving issues pertaining to internal accounts receivable and providing support and expertise whenever required
  • Interaction with personnel from other functional departments and other third parties to resolve transactional and/or process issues
  • Active participation and collaboration with internal stakeholders for accounts receivable process improvement

Job Overview:

The Service Technician, reporting to the Service Manager, will work alongside the Sales and Service team to secure and grow service revenue for McCoy Global.  This position will service as the customer contact on specific technical and service related problems. This will include training on maintenance/service of various McCoy products as well as creating check sheets and certification for commissioning of equipment on customer locations.  The position is responsible for maintaining an extremely high level of customer service and professionalism while repairing, maintaining and calibrating equipment.

What you’ll do:

  • Travel to customer sites globally for any installing, assembling, servicing, repairing, or tear down of company equipment and calibration jobs
  • Troubleshoot complex hydraulic systems, complex PLC operated equipment, and complex electronic systems
  • Interacting with customers and ensuring that their concerns are appropriately addressed in a professional and courteous manner
  • Diagnose and resolve product performance problems on-site
  • Escalate serious or multi-vendor issues when necessary to the Service Supervisor
  • Perform calibrations on most systems while recording and maintaining all calibration and service records
  • Comprehend instructions and ask questions to clarify discrepancies
  • Conduct pre-job Risk Assessments on all locations before carrying out any work.
  • Coordinate work scopes and arrange travel to customer sites.
  • Conduct product training to customers and ensure they are properly educated on all McCoy product
  • Upsell McCoy Global products while on customer sites

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years related industry experience preferred
  • Previous drilling or field experience

Reporting to Financial Shared Services Lead, the Accounting Technician is to ensure compliance with policies and procedures with regards to full cycle accounting of accounts payable and receivable. This position ensures appropriate coding of vendor invoices and monitoring of internal control procedures for cash disbursements. What you’ll do:

  • Process Accounts Payable (multiple locations) including AP invoice entry and AP payment processing
  • Record other cash transactions for the distribution center (bank adjustments/fees/miscellaneous payment entry)
  • Review invoice GL coding, vendor payment terms and process cheques, EFT payments and wire payments.
  • Answer incoming supplier, customer calls and other third parties call to resolve transactional and/or process issues regarding their accounts.
  • Perform sales three-way match when processing customer invoices, ensuring compliance to internal control processes
  • Follow up on invoices that are past their overdue days, collect invoices from warehousing and manufacturing systems and pull back up on relevant data relating to chargebacks, overpayments, short payments or data errors
  • Compile audit requests for businesses unit for the annual audits
  • Assist the finance team with other tasks and projects as requested
  • Perform month-end close procedures and reconciliations for trade payables and receivables
  • Resolving issues pertaining to accounts payable and receivable and providing support and expertise whenever required
  • Interaction with personnel from other functional departments and other third parties to resolve transactional and/or process issues
